These words describe the remarkable, natural talent that photographer Karen Paige Hillman brings to the art of hand-tinted photography.  Karen is recognized as one of South Florida's leading photographic artists.  Her hand-tinted black and white portraits capture special moments in time, ones that will surely create precious family heirlooms. 

Karen's inspiration to become involved in this art form came from collecting antique hand colored postcards.  Hand coloring was a process used before the invention of color film.  Her ability to use natural light and arrange the perfect setting adds to the uniqueness of her work.  She doesn't just capture posed pictures, in fact, truly the most beautiful are the candid ones.
