Give your little girl the chance to be a fairy for a day at the Fairy Garden Gala on Sunday, April 30^th from 12:00-4:00pm at the PlantationFlorida home of fine art photographer Karen Hillman. Special honorary guest is Candace Cameron Bure, the actress who played “D.J.” on the TV series Full House, and Ashlie Brillault, the actress who plays Kate on the Lizzie McGuire movie and shows! The event benefits Operation Smile, a not-for-profit volunteer medical services organization providing free reconstructive facial surgery and related healthcare to children around the world.

Since 1982, more than 98,000 children have been treated by Operation Smile medical volunteers in 30 countries. A cleft lip surgery can take as little as 45 minutes to perform, and a life is forever changed.

Tristen Bookmyer has been chosen as this year’s “Fairy Poster Child.” She will be speaking at the event to share what she has learned about Operation Smile and why the charity is so important to her.

This white glove event will feature a tea luncheon, fairy dancers, face painters and fairy crafts. The parent attending will enjoy gourmet appetizers, silent auctions and magical music as their little fairy awaits her special photo shoot with Karen Hillman. All little girls will also receive a visit to the enchanted forest to feed the live white tail deer and will be part of the Grand Finale.... a butterfly release in the butterfly garden. Also appearing are 2 winners from Weston Idol’s singing finals! All fairies attending will depart this enchanted day with beautiful take home gifts!

Most importantly, EACH AND EVERY dollar of the entrance donations will go to Operation Smile. All services from food items to décor have been graciously donated by attending vendors.
